We came across this perfect restaurant whilst riding the SB Pass and had to stop for lunch. Great food and unfortunately we didn’t have time to see the waterfall but I’m sure I will go back one day soon.
They closed down the trail leading to the waterfall and demand 4 francs per person to “cross” their restaurant to be able to go there (cash only—you don’t like paying taxes, do you?). The whole place is cash only.
Very cute place with nice staff and good food. Only cash tho, so be aware!
Only ate in the restaurant, but the food was tasty and the people were friendly. The restaurant itself is perfectly cosy and relaxed—exactly what I was looking for. Prices are reasonable as well and the nearby falls are beautiful.

Absolutely simply, cosy wooden Restaurant.
A place everything else, you expect from me.
But you had to be there and enjoyed the fresh trout from the grill and other dishes first, THEN you understand what I mean.
Try, please, and then judge yourself.....
For me, it goes back generations, because my mom, with her siblings and parents, before and during the world war, passed through this place with horse and wagon when they went to the alps in summertime.
Very special hotel with a interesting history. Old house with a nice character. Very friendly host. The waterfall at the house is great.
We stopped there accidentally on the way back from Italy. It was a good surprise, the restaurant is lovely, the staff is friendly and the waterfall is breath-taking! We will stop by again.
Huge and nice waterfall. Entrance is through pension, for price 3,5€/person. You can park free in front of and the walk is only 300m.
